Neoseason

Policies

Last updated October 2026. The rules that keep Neoseason fair for Clients and Contractors.

During our early launch: our team confirms each booking with you, and Clients pay by a secure Stripe payment link. Contractors are paid after the Client approves the job photos, or automatically after 2 business days if the Client doesn't respond or report a problem. In-site payments, accounts and automatic payouts described below start when accounts launch.

1. Terms of Service

Everyone who creates a Neoseason account agrees to these terms.

  1. What Neoseason is. Neoseason is an online marketplace that connects property owners and property managers ("Clients") with independent service businesses ("Contractors"). Neoseason does not perform the services itself and does not employ Contractors.
  2. Accounts. You must be 18 or older and give true information. You are responsible for everything done under your login. Business accounts are responsible for their employees and crews.
  3. Posting and accepting jobs. Clients post a job with address, scope, date and time window, and photos. Contractors accept or bid. Once accepted, the job description, price and arrival window form the agreement between Client and Contractor.
  4. Payments. Clients pay through Neoseason when they book. Neoseason holds payment and releases it to the Contractor when the Client approves the job photos, or automatically 2 business days after the job is marked complete with photos if the Client doesn't approve or report a problem, minus Neoseason's service fee of 10% (launch rate; any change announced with 30 days' notice). Payments are processed by Stripe.
  5. Cancellations. - Client cancels more than 24 hours before the arrival window: full refund. - Client cancels within 24 hours, or the Contractor arrives and can't get access: the Contractor receives a cancellation fee of 25% of the job price (minimum $25). - Contractor cancels within 24 hours or doesn't show: the Client gets a full refund, and the Contractor's account receives a strike.
  6. Problems with a job. Report problems within 7 days of completion through the site, with photos. A problem reported before payment is released pauses the payout for that job only; the Client must describe what's wrong, and the Contractor gets a chance to fix it. Neoseason will first ask the Contractor to fix it. If that fails, Neoseason reviews the evidence and decides on a full or partial refund. Neoseason's decision on refunds is final within the platform.
  7. Stay on Neoseason. For 12 months after Clients and Contractors meet through Neoseason, all payments for work between them must go through Neoseason. Paying off-platform can lead to suspension, and those jobs lose all Neoseason guarantees.
  8. Reviews. Only Clients who booked and paid through Neoseason can review. Reviews must be honest; Neoseason may remove fake, abusive or paid reviews.
  9. Limits on Neoseason's responsibility. Contractors are responsible for their own work, insurance and licenses. Except for the On-Time Guarantee and refunds described here, Neoseason is not liable for damage, injury or losses caused by Contractors. Neoseason's total liability is limited to the fees it collected on the job in question.
  10. Suspension. Neoseason may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, are unsafe, or receive repeated serious complaints.
  11. Disputes with Neoseason. Florida law applies.
  12. Changes. Neoseason may update these terms with 30 days' notice by email.
  13. Language. A Spanish version of these terms is coming soon.

2. Contractor Agreement

Contractors sign this on top of the Terms of Service before they can accept jobs.

  1. You run your own business. You are an independent contractor, not a Neoseason employee. You choose which jobs to accept, set or bid your own prices, use your own tools and crew, and decide how to do the work. You can work for other platforms and clients.
  2. Taxes. You pay your own taxes. Stripe collects your tax information and issues 1099 forms where required.
  3. Insurance. Before your first job, upload proof of general liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per incident. Keep it current; expired coverage pauses your account.
  4. Licenses. Only accept work you are licensed for. Trades that Florida or your county license (such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC and roofing) require your license number on file.
  5. Service fee. Neoseason's fee is 10% of the job price (launch rate), or 8% for NeoSeason Pro Contractors.
  6. Payouts. Connect a bank account through Stripe. Payment is released when the Client approves your photos, or automatically 2 business days after the job is marked complete with photos if no problem is reported. A Client who doesn't respond can't hold your pay.
  7. Instant pay (optional). You can choose instant payout for a fee of 1.5% of the payout (minimum $1), shown before you confirm. Standard Contractors can use instant pay once payment is released; NeoSeason Pro Contractors can use it as soon as the job is marked complete with photos.
  8. Photo proof. Every job needs before and after photos uploaded through Neoseason. No photos, no payout.
  9. Showing up. Arrive inside the booked arrival window and check in through the site when you get there (see On-Time Guarantee).
  10. Strikes. A no-show, a late cancellation (under 24 hours) or a late arrival outside the window counts as a strike. 3 strikes in 90 days pauses your account for review.
  11. Conduct. Be respectful, keep the property clean and secure, and follow site rules (gate codes, pets, parking). No smoking, drugs or alcohol on the job.
  12. Background check. Required for every Contractor before their first job. During sign-up, the Contractor sees the background check disclosure on its own separate screen, then consents by typing their full name and checking "I consent." Neoseason keeps a record of the name, date, time and version agreed to. Neoseason pays for the check for founding Contractors; after that, the Contractor pays and Neoseason refunds the cost after their first 5 completed jobs.
  13. Stay on Neoseason. The 12-month off-platform rule in the Terms of Service applies to you.
  14. Ending the agreement. You can close your account anytime. Neoseason can pause or close it for strikes, safety problems or breaking these terms; any money owed for completed jobs is still paid.

3. On-Time Guarantee and NeoSeason Pro

On-Time Guarantee (for Clients)

  • Every booking has a 1-hour arrival window.
  • "On time" means the Contractor's GPS check-in through the site happens inside the window.
  • Late up to 30 minutes after the window: the Client gets 10% of the job price back.
  • Late more than 30 minutes, or no-show: the Client may cancel for a full refund, or keep the job and get 25% back.
  • Late refunds are paid by the late Contractor, out of their payout for that job. Neoseason keeps its normal service fee and does not profit from lateness.
  • No penalty if the Contractor messages the Client before the window starts to say they are running late, or if the Client agrees to a new time.
  • Not covered: severe weather, road closures, or the Client changing the time or blocking access, if the Contractor messages the Client through the site before the window starts.
  • Only applies to jobs booked and paid through Neoseason.

Contractor tiers

Tier How to get it Benefits

NeoSeason Pro 20 completed jobs, 95% on time, 4.8+ rating, zero strikes in the last 90 days 8% fee, instant pay at completion, first look at new jobs, Pro badge
  • Pro status is checked monthly. Falling below the standard gives one month to recover. One no-show removes Pro status immediately.
